The bat program is back!
I am currently a minor league baseball with the Oakland Athletics.
One of the many obstacles for minor league players without an agent and/or equipment contract is the cost of equipment through a 140+ game season.
The top wood bats can range anywhere from $100-$140 a piece.
Throughout my career in college and in the pros thus far I have been blessed with amazing support from family, friends, and fans.
There's a couple of questions I've consistently been asked over the last couple years.
- How Can I help you out in your career?
- Can I have one of your bats?
- Can I have one of your broken bats?
So I thought of a way to combine all three of these questions into one program.
I've teamed up with one of the top wood bat companies, Trinity Bats, to offer family, friends, and fans a very unique opportunity!
Here's how the program will work:
Family, friends, and fans can purchase one of my bats for $80, 2 bats for $160, or 3 bats for $230.
The bat(s) will be engraved with my name, Ryan Mathews, and then your choice on the second line.
You may choose to engrave the bat(s) with your name, a family members name, a buisness' name, or anything you want to put on it.
When the bat arrives, I will take a picture and email you a picture of your bat.
I will use these bats during the season.
If the bat breaks during the season, I will sign the bat and ship it out to the buyer immediately.
If the bat does not break during the season, I will ship the bat to the buyer at the conclusion of the season. The prices also include the shipping back to the buyer.
best of Luck Ryan Matthews... very inspiring idea...
